At present the DCCSL has a highly developed technical infrastructure and it is fully capable of executing giant and mammoth construction works. The DCCSL has a sanctioned strength of technical and non-technical staff. In the Technical Staff, one Chief Engineer, two Superintending Engineers (Civil), one General Manager (Technical), 4 Executive Engineers (civil), 5 Assistant Engineers (Civil) and 15 Junior engineers, are employed, while works are also being executed by engaging Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers on contract basis, as and when need arises. Apart from that, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers are also employed in the DCCSL. All the engineers possess sufficient experience and the senior amongst them have experience of more than 10 years in their respective trades. With a view to strengthening the accounting system and for following the accounting rules in a rigid and strict manner, there is a sanctioned post of General Manager (Accounts) at the Headquarters to be filled up by deputation and there are 2 posts of Manager (Accounts), while one Accountant and one Accounts Assistant are posted in each Division.
